Vehicle Tracking Service Documents
Three short PDFs that put the service in writing: what a tracking subscription includes, how remote engine cutoff works, and what 24/7 stolen vehicle recovery covers. Forward them to your insurer, your broker, or whoever signs off on the fleet.

Three documents. Pick the one that matches your setup.
The Tracking Co is a Cape Town-based GPS vehicle tracking company founded in 2016. Each document is written to be forwarded as-is — what we provide, how the service works, its scope, and the ownership terms. Prices aren't inside; current pricing lives on the pricing page.
Proof of fitment, when you need it.
Most insurers want two things before they accept a tracker: a description of the recovery service, and proof it was fitted. The SVR overview covers the service. The Certificate of Fitment covers the install.

Document questions, answered.
Do the service overview documents include prices?
No. The Tracking Co keeps pricing on the website so a forwarded PDF never goes out of date. Each document links to the live pricing page instead: tracking from R50 per vehicle per month or R540 per year, hardware from R769 once-off for the hardwired 4G900L, and stolen vehicle recovery as an optional add-on at R44 per month. The documents cover what the service includes, how it works, its scope, and the ownership terms.
Can I send the SVR overview to my insurer before I buy?
Yes — that is what it is for. The stolen vehicle recovery overview describes The Tracking Co's 24/7 monitored recovery service, delivered with a licensed South African recovery partner, in the terms an insurer or broker expects: what is monitored, how a theft or hijacking is handled, the terms of cover, and the ownership model. Send it with your policy question, get the requirement in writing, and order once you know the wording.
Do I get a certificate after the tracker is installed?
Yes. Once the device is fitted, The Tracking Co issues a Certificate of Fitment confirming the unit serial number, vehicle details, installation date, and whether SVR is active. Most insurers ask for exactly this. The certificate confirms the fitment; it is not an accreditation with any specific insurer, so confirm your policy's requirement directly with your insurer or broker.
Which document matches my setup?
Tracking only: the Vehicle Tracking overview — a self-monitored service without SVR. Tracking with an engine cutoff relay fitted to a 4G900L, FMC920, or FMB140: the Vehicle Tracking & Remote Engine Cutoff overview. Any vehicle with the 24/7 monitored recovery add-on, or an insurer asking for proof of the service: the Stolen Vehicle Recovery overview. All three are two-page PDFs from The Tracking Co and free to share.
