Most devices fit without a specialist. The OBD Mini plugs into your OBD port; the others connect to power or the battery. We'll guide you through whichever you choose.
Already have an auto electrician? Any of them can fit a TTC device in well under an hour. Every unit ships configured and ready — they just connect it to permanent power, then hide and secure it. Keep the relationship you've got; there's no approved-installer list to go through.

Is there really no contract?
Correct. You buy the hardware once and pay month-to-month for tracking, from R50 per vehicle per month. There's no minimum term — cancel any time with no penalty, and you keep the device. The annual plan (R45/month, billed R540 once a year) is optional and just lowers the monthly cost.
What's the difference between the four devices?
The OBD Mini (R499) plugs in with no installation and is ideal for a single vehicle. The 4G900L (R769) is the everyday hardwired workhorse with SVR capability. The FMC920 (R999) adds advanced reporting for fleets. The FMC880 (R1,199) is rugged and weatherproof for farms, plant and harsh environments. Every device includes the same full platform — the difference is the hardware, not the features.
Are there any hidden fees?
No setup fee, no activation fee, no cancellation penalty and no feature paywalls. The only optional cost beyond the device and subscription is professional installation for hardwired devices, which is quoted by location and vehicle — and you can avoid it entirely by self-installing or using your own auto electrician.
What does the subscription include?
Everything. Live GPS, geofences, trip history, SARS-compliant logbook reports, movement alerts, the web dashboard, native mobile apps and API access — all on every plan. There are no tiers gating features behind higher prices.
Do I have to pay for stolen vehicle recovery?
No. SVR is an optional add-on (R44/month, or R40/month on the annual plan) for 24/7 monitored recovery response. Tracking works fully without it — SVR adds a monitored response layer on top.
